Would you like to have a powerful body as you age?

Would you like to have a powerful body that can do hard things as you age?

Yes? Then let me tell you about the power of functional fitness training!

Functional fitness exercises mimic everyday movements so you’ll not only lower your risk of injury during your current everyday activities, but they’ll also be a lot easier to do now...and they'll help you continue to move effectively and with less assistance as you get older.

Functional training helps you keep up with your kids!

Activities like…

●     Sitting down and standing up from your chair

●     Climbing up stairs or walking up hills

●     Carrying groceries/lifting heavy objects (or kids!)

And of course, there are fun activities like going on family hikes or deciding you want to rearrange your furniture whenever the mood strikes!

Most of us don’t think about our mobility or flexibility until something hurts, but by adding functional training exercises into your regular workout routine, you’ll have a better chance of staying strong and flexible longer into your lifespan,

Even if your #1 goal is something like changing your body composition, being able to move your body easily and freely can make a huge difference in how you feel.

If you want to practice some functional training exercises, here are a few you can try:

●     Walking lunges across your living room (10-15 reps for each leg, 2-3 sets)

●     Bodyweight squats or sitting down and standing up from a chair (10-15 reps, repeat twice)

●     Wall pushups (stand a few feet away from the wall with your arms out in front of you, keeping your core neutral; bend your elbows to bring your chest towards the wall, then push back to the starting position and repeat (10-15 reps, 2 sets)

Think of these quick exercises like little deposits into your “wellness bank account” that may not seem like they make a huge difference now, but later on you’ll be happy you made the investment!

Are you a mom who would like more simple ways to prioritize your health and fitness?

My "Mom's Little Black Dress Project" helps you go from feeling overwhelmed and stuck in unhealthy habits and stressing about the temptations of the holidays to feeling confident, energized, and fitting into that little black dress—without depriving yourself (yes, there will even be "treat meals!")... or sacrificing time with your family in just 6 weeks!

And due to Hurricane Milton, enrollment will remain open until 10/17 and our new start date is 10/21 so you have some extra time to jump in! Hope to see you there once I get the all-clear here in Florida! 💚
