Your habits match your identity

Let’s skip the surface-level stuff for a second and get to something that actually moves the needle.
You’ve got goals — whether it’s having more energy, reducing stress, improving gut health, or getting your family's meals in order...or any number of goals.
But here’s the part most people overlook or misunderstand:
It's not just the actions you're taking, but keeping in mind the kind of person you want to be while you're at it.
Here' s a bit of "bottom line truth" -- your habits will match your identity.

If you've written your character as someone who always quits, or can't commit or is constantly starting over... you’ll look for ways to affirm that identity.
But if you commit to choices like becoming someone who puts their health at the top of their own to-do list, believes they're worth the effort, and follows through on what they commit to...
That starts to become your identity.
And before you know it, your energy levels will rise, you sleep might improve, you stick with habits longer... and things like your body composition might even start to change.
So here’s something you can try...
Fill in the blank: “I’m becoming someone who ____________”
Here are a few examples:
● “I’m becoming someone who walks instead of snacks when I’m stressed.”
● “I’m becoming someone who doesn’t quit just because I had one off-track day.”
● “I’m becoming someone who eats to feel better — not just to get through the day.”
These are the kinds of small mental changes that make habits actually stick — and the goals you've put hopes in by setting those habits finally feel doable.
