Do just ONE hard thing today

You have great intentions to keep and track all your preferred habits.


Some days, life has other ideas.


Your workout gets bumped...


Dinner turns into a scramble of whatever’s in the fridge…


And your personal habits? They don’t even make the list.


A client recently shared something that really stuck with me:

“As soon as one part of my day falls apart, it feels like everything else unravels and I gice up on the rest of the day.”


I felt that—because it can be true for many of us. When you’re balancing work, family, and your own well-being, even a small derailment can throw the whole day off track.


But here’s a thought shift I asked her to try—and now I’m challenging you, too:

A few yoga stretches can count when you barely have time!

Do just ONE hard thing today.


Not every single habit on your tracker or with any hint of perfection.


Not everything on the to-do list.


Just one thing that can move you forward right now.


Maybe that means:

●     Doing even a 15 minute workout in your living room-- NO MATTER WHAT.

●     Putting together one actual, nutritious meal—like eggs + greens or even leftovers.

●     Honoring your boundaries by saying no to something you really don't want to do.

●     Getting into bed 30 minutes earlier and NOT scrolling TikTok or streaming a show.


The key is to pick something that feels reasonable, something that can be a quick win, something that future you will thank you for.


Because when you accumulate one-hard-thing-days, that's when confidence occurs, momentum builds, and the changes stick.


So I bet you can guess what I'm going to challenge you to do today!


Pick your one hard thing. Then go do it!


Even if that’s the ONLY thing you do today (that's not just trying to keep your head above water), you're still taking steps forward.
