Decision Fatigue can be a REAL problem

So... it's already a couple of weeks into 2025...

How are you doing with those resolutions?

If you…

●     Want to improve specific habits that would lead to a healthier lifestyle...

●     Are already leaving the “honeymoon phase” with all the goals you set just weeks ago...

●     But you want this year to be different than last year (and all the years before it)...

Slowing down and simplifying can be a game changer

Let’s talk about doing LESS.

Yes, less!

Research shows that overloading ourselves with to-do's and decisions actually makes it much harder to stick with new habits.

This “decision fatigue” can be a REAL problem for some people.

So, how do you battle it? By simplifying the way you approach all of it. Instead of focusing on the long list of things you think you need to do to reach your goals, ask yourself:

What unnecessary steps can I ELIMINATE?

It can be as simple as:

●     Focusing on just one key daily habit that matters most, and can give you a "quick win." Keep it simple but impactful.

●     Saying “no” to unnecessary steps. So, instead of cooking separate dinners every single night, try meal prepping for a few days at once.

●     Aiming for small but consistent actions. Five minutes of daily stretching is better than an hour-long session that only happens once a week...if that, because you skip it when you think you're too busy.

Whatever you can do to lessen resistance in your life can help!

Remember: Doing less doesn’t mean caring about your goals less. It means being strategic and focusing your energy on the actions that truly move the needle.

So, if you’re already seeing signs of slipping on your New Year goals, maybe it’s time to try doing a little LESS.
